Sabrina is a posable soft sculpture, another character designed and constructed for my personal development as a puppet maker. This time it was with a focus on expanding my ability to make miniature clothing. I imagines Sabrina as living in the same world as Steve, but being an evolved variation who has discovered a love for clothing, mirroring my own desire to express my identity through dressing up.
Sabrina has a posable wire armature with a head made from balsa wood, as well as facial features sculpted with epoxy putty and painted with acrylic paints. The body is made from upholstery foam and liquid latex, dressed with a variety of fabric remnants.
