In 2019, I was invited by Director and Producer Tom O’Meara to do work experience in the art department on this very exciting project for the Wildlife Trusts at Clapham Road Studios. I was mainly involved in fabricating the roots and some branches for the trees used on several sets, as well as the Toad Hall seen in the title sequence. The roots are various gauges of aluminium wire twisted together and dipped in brown emulsion. The miniature Toad Hall was made from scrap hard wood that was shaped using a sanding wheel with the addition of balsa wood dowels and strips for the chimneys.
